Mammoth Cave National Park invested approximately $115,000 in America’s National Parks funding to improve facilities and enrich the visitor experience. The park replaced worn picnic tables, purchased equipment for special events, and installed new visitor center signage and seven backlit wayside exhibits along the Discovery Route.
The funding also replenished essential interpretive supplies, including ink for educational posters, 8,000 Junior Ranger badges, and 60,000 copies of the park’s Junior Ranger Adventure Journal. Together, these improvements ensure that visitors of all ages have the resources, information, and opportunities they need to explore Mammoth Cave and build a lasting connection with this remarkable national park.
