Antietam National Battlefield recently premiered its new orientation film, Remembering Antietam, made possible by more than $43,000 in donations from America’s National Parks™. The support also helped fund youth intern programs and printed posters for the film, which drew more than 400 attendees and is now available at the battlefield bookstore.
The funds also strengthened interpretive programming throughout the year, including Civil War weapons and wet-plate photography demonstrations during the two-weekend commemoration of the Battle of Antietam in September.
