Utilizing funds from America’s National Parks™, Andersonville NHS created an immersive escape room experience and displayed games from the 1800s as part of their America’s 250th events in June 2026. The Rangers at the site even developed a board game (pictured below) that took players on a journey through history. This event helped to extend the experience for visitors and created a fun experience for families to learn about the site while connecting the interpretation to Revolutionary War history.
