Eastern National Helps Get Kids to Parks

Jun 25, 2019Field Notes

This May, Eastern National and the National Park Trust partnered to promote the Passport To Your National Parks® Junior Ranger Edition as part of the annual Kids to Parks Day festivities. Junior Ranger-themed prize packs and custom Passport cancellation stamps were provided to the Trust’s Buddy Bison Student Ambassadors.

Families celebrating the National Day of Outdoor Play at official events at Castle Clinton National Monument, Channel Islands National Park, Pecos National Historical Park, and the Blue Ridge Parkway had the opportunity to get special Passport cancellations from Buddy Bison Ambassadors and Junior Rangers Sarah, Tigran, Bryan, and Audrey to commemorate the day. Some lucky Junior Rangers in attendance also received Eastern National-provided Junior Ranger vests, pins, patches, and Junior Ranger Passports! Participants nationwide were eligible to win a Buddy Bison Prize Pack online, also donated by EN.

The promotion generated strong sales of the Junior Ranger Passport and close to 1,000 new eParks subscribers, which helps us support the parks.
