Antietam National Battlefield

Gauley River National Recreation Area

Petersburg National Battlefield
Learn all about the Siege of Petersburg with a virtual visit to the battlefield. It was here that General Ulysses S. Grant cut off the city’s supply lines, ensuring the fall of Richmond on April 3, 1965. Six days later, Lee surrendered at Appomattox.
Prince William Forest Park

The Wolf Trap virtual Junior Ranger program offers kids and adults alike an opportunity to learn about the only national park dedicated to the performing arts. You’ll experience content highlighting their two performance venues, some basic theater knowledge, park history, and general information about the National Park Service. A virtual Girl Scout Ranger program introduces young people to Wolf Trap founder, Mrs. Catherine Filene Shouse. It provides some park history as well as highlighting Mrs. Shouse’s philanthropy and efforts in the women’s rights movement.
