Coming Soon: A New Chapter Begins at Eastern National

Jun 25, 2019Organizational Announcement

On July 1, Eastern National stores at National Park Service sites will begin operating under the name America’s National Parks! Part of our strategic priority to increase brand awareness, the new name will better tell our story of what we do and who we are to the millions of park visitors we serve each year.

Our goal in changing our name at the store level is to strengthen our connection to the parks and extend the park experience for visitors, making it easier for them to understand how their purchases support the parks. As part of this change, you’ll see the new name reflected on store signage, uniforms, business cards, and, later this year, product packaging and a new website.

Regardless of how we brand ourselves, our mission remains the same. Whether it’s through educational retail, fundraising, wholesale, or product development, our mission is to provide quality educational experiences, products, and services.

We believe that when visitors and other park supporters better understand our story through stronger, more consistent branding, our mission fulfillment and store revenue will grow—sending more support back to parks.

The team at the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument park store celebrate the new brand. Left to right: Ashley Shortal, store manager; Rich Beckman, store lead associate; Judi Hazelton, store associate.
